The Society for the Protection and Re-homing of Animals Ltd is established with the conditions set out in its constitution and is a data controller within the UK.

 

The SPRA is registered with the Charity Commission (England and Wales) and Companies House.

 

The personal information referred to in this Policy may include name, contact details and other such information that may be necessary for the effective management of the legitimate interests of The SPRA. Any person wishing to verify the information held by The SPRA, may apply to the Chairman or Secretary.

 

The SPRA collects and holds personal information about:

 

1)    The Trustees of The SPRA, Volunteers guardians of animals re-homed, recipients of donations, and others who assist the SPRA in its activities.    

 

•      This information is used to facilitate administration.

•      The information is compiled into electronic files and held by the SPRA to 

        comply with legal obligations.

 

2)    Individuals, landlords and companies offering services to the SPRA

 

•      This information is used to facilitate administration.

•      The information is compiled into electronic files held by the SPRA

 

3)    Individual members of the SPRA

 

•      To facilitate dissemination of SPRA news and information

 

4)   Access to data

 

•      Only trustees of the SPRA and senior management will access data held.

•      No data will be released to 3rd parties without consent.

The SPRA may retain historic personal details for example but not limited to, records of meetings, Animal owner’s details, Volunteers details as required by law.
